Design Patterns

The IT Skills Focus activity encourages students to improve their own and other’s understanding and retention of learning.  It could take place within a computer lab or tutorial to observe sequence, for example: designing, analysis, laboratory processes, and medical diagnosis.

The Weekly Expert Broadcast allows students to discover the forthcoming weekly topic. It gives them an opportunity to consider one challenging concept or illuminating example for the forthcoming week.

The open access site accommodates educational resources with relevant news feeds, original content and aggregations of relevant third party material and acts as an external facing knowledge hub under a common-pool resource (CPR) for the benefit of students.

Make Lessons Worth Sharing explains course concepts through TED videos. TED-ED enables lecturers to create lessons and share the videos as educational resources.

Gamification - Analytical Exercises enables students to cooperate in teams and combine individual assessment scores of the weekly tutorial analytics tasks and discussion activities in an online leaderboard. The leaderboard indicates the progress towards certain benchmarks and enables the tracking of completed activities.
