What is a Learning Design Pattern?

Learning design patterns capture the processes and learnings from Global Learning by Design (GLbD) projects to share with others for re-use. Patterns are not discipline specific; they provide easy to use guidelines for incorporating new approaches and activities into your teaching practice that are adaptable to different contexts.

What is the Learning Design Pattern Collection?

The idea of using learning design patterns for program and course design is to assist staff with new approaches to learning and teaching, as well as program design and renewal. Learning design patterns give a step by step guide to implementing these changes at a program and course level. The pattern collection contains the patterns developed across the GLbD project.
