Calculate the racking force (for both wind directions).

Formula

Racking force (kN) = area of elevation (m2) x wind pressure (kPa)

For complex elevations, combine the results of separate calculations to end up with a total racking force for each of the two wind directions.

The total racking force for wind direction 1 = 14.04 m2 x 0.92 = 12.9 kN.

The total racking force for wind direction 2 = 43.74 m2 x 0.6 = 26.2 kN.
