In October 2013, fashion program students at RMIT University, the University of Salford and Columbia College participated in a live collaboration project, the Global Fashion Design Challenge. This was the third challenge in an ongoing annual collaboration that originally commenced in 2011.
Weekly Blackboard Collaborate sessions provide the opportunity to offer learning experiences online and to record learning electronically. While learning in the Collaborate online classroom, often, group work forms a part of the learning experience. While in groups, students go into breakout rooms to further discuss the topics of the day.
