Fibre cement shingles

Diagrams showing how fibre cement shingles are fixed using crampons and clouts. Multi notch fibrous cement shingle sheets are laid from eave to ridge.

Timber shingles

Diagram showing how timber shingles are fixed. A soffit lining is placed under sub-roof boarding, then sarking is placed and shingles are placed on top of this.
