Flooring materials
Any timber species may be used for floor framing, provided it is kept dry. It must:
- be well ventilated
- not be exposed to weather
- not be in contact with or close to the ground.
Some timber species commonly used for flooring are:
Tasmanian Oak
Blackbutt
Cypress
Jarrah
