This exercise involves calculating quantities of timber to frame the main bedroom shown in the house plan. This small brick veneer house is on a concrete slab and has a cement tiled roof.

- Calculate the length of timber required to construct the frame for the main bedroom shown on the plan for:
- top and bottom plates
- noggings
- studs
- lintel.
- Cost the framing of the main bedroom using the following information.
